Family Taco Tuesday Dinner Recipe

Fall school season is here, which means busy evenings, evolving routines, and a lot of juggling. Between homework, sports, and bedtime routines, it can feel like dinner is just another to-do.

But what if time around the table became your family’s favorite pause button? A time to press reset, laugh, and (bonus) really enjoy the food on the table. 

We’re bringing you two easy, family-approved recipes that will fuel your family and make even the pickiest of eaters beg, “Can I please have mooo-re?”

1. Taco Tuesday Recipe 🌮

With a zesty WonderCow Ranch Drizzle
Serves: 2 adults and 2-3 kids

You can't go wrong with tacos, especially when there’s a tasty sauce involved. This ranch dressing gets a superfood boost from WonderCow Colostrum, making it as nourishing as it is tasty.

Ingredients

For the tacos:

  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 small tortillas
    • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, avocado, corn, etc.

For the WonderCow Ranch Drizzle:

Instructions
  1. In a skillet, cook the meat over medium heat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer until thickened.
  3. While the meat cooks, whisk together Greek yogurt, ranch seasoning, lemon juice, and WonderCow Colostrum. Add water until it reaches drizzle consistency.
  4. Warm tortillas.
  5. When ready, build tacos with toppings, and finish with a generous ranch drizzle.
Kid Tip: Make it a “build your own” night so everyone gets exactly what they want and it doubles as a fun, hands-on dinner activity.

2. Friday Night Dessert Bar - DIY

Fueled with Colostrum

Friday night calls for something a little extra. Maybe your family already calls it “Friday Night Movie Night”... so what if you took it to an even higher level?! This dessert bar lets the kids serve themselves - and with the boost of WonderCow Colostrum there’s no worries how much they are serving. The bigger the scoop the more fuel! 

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt or whipped cream cheese
  • 1 scoop Vanilla WonderCow Colostrum
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
    • Toppings: sliced fruit, mini chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, sprinkles, mini marshmallows, etc.
    • Base options: mini graham cracker crusts, waffles, or sliced bananas
Instructions
  1. Mix yogurt or cream cheese with WonderCow Colostrum and sweetener.
  2. Lay out bases and toppings in small bowls.
  3. Let everyone build their own dessert creations.
  4. Enjoy!!
Family Fun Tip: Give awards for “Most Creative Combo” or assign each person to make a dessert for someone else.
